Sorry for the delay. I'm connected now so there will be many more sounds on a regular basis. I just cleared my recorder's memory card so there are some sounds I will be sharing that date back to march until now...

Also, sometimes when this site loads it does not always load the players, just refresh and they should appear.

Thanks for listening.

I have to get a hold of a USB cord so until then, another oldie! For anyone that wishes they were on the west coast, with better transportation.

I have been recording free and sometimes very personal sounds with my field recorder for awhile now but I have never been very good at carrying it on any regular basis. So in an effort to remember to bring it out with me more often, I decided a few months ago to begin a sound journal, and now in an effort to remember to clear my memory card more often, I have started a sound blog.

This space is intended to be about sound and not about words so I will be writing very little. But I welcome any comments and I hope that my sounds are as interesting to you as they are to me. Not because I think I am "interesting"! but because sound itself is interesting, and I have learned that recording it is a terrific way to remember and/or appreciate a time.

Also, since I am new to posting sounds, I welcome any suggestions for improvement.

For now I would like to post an oldie:

A Laura Anglim Story
